Yeah really, it's been that long. If you told me 10 years ago this place would still be around for another decade, I'd say you were totally right... but then Fable 3 happened and now I'm surprised we're still around. Given how social media has evolved so much elsewhere, it's an accomplishment in and of itself regardless of the state.

Had a lot of really good memories here at Project-Ego FableHero and made friends with some of the best people I've ever known in my life, and I wouldn't trade any of it. Of all of the forums I've been a part of, this is the only one that's managed to keep a sound head on its shoulders despite how utterly bizarre all the damn people are.

I don't think I'll be holding my breath for another 10 years of all this, but I'll gladly eat my hat if proven wrong. Until then though, I love you guys.

I joined in 2006 when I was 13 in the 7th grade because this was the only site that was not blocked in keyboarding class. Fable impacted me more than I'd ever hope to know and I think a large part of that was because of this site. Cheers to all the memories and I look forward and patiently await the news of all your passing.
I love you guys.

10 years later; still no life.

I'm just kidding. I love you guys - here's to another 10 years!

And with the end of Lionhead and fable in sight, all them feels make the feels more feely. Now that fable has been forcibly put away and dismantled by microsoft, Lionhead is teetering on the edge of going the same way. If that happens I doubt this place will be able to survive.

I would obviously like it to, but I doubt there will be much reason for traffic to a website dedicated to a dead game series. So in short if any of us do keep in contact it could be on social media, I have already added a few people, those who I don't have I clearly won't be able to speak to ever again. I'm sorry to have to do this on a happy thread but I don't see the point in starting a separate thread for it.

In effect this is me saying goodbye. I don't really go on here very much nowadays or any other web forum. so... yeah it's been a great eight or so years but it won't last any longer for me personally.

So anyone who wants to add me can do so on Twitter, Steam, Facebook, or PlayStation. ( I don't use Xbox very often anymore). But for anyone that I won't remain in contact with all I can say is this; so long and thanks for all the fish.

Shame to lose anyone and been a pleasure having you here buddy.

I would disagree, I think it'll boost the popularity at least a little bit, people who have forgotten about Fable will be reminded and come back. Remember how when they announced Halo 2 was going offline; those last few days they had a tremendous spike of nostalgic players. Alpha Centauri, C&C, Diablo (The Original), and Starcraft (Which has become the living dead) all have thriving communities; Marathon is more popular now than when it was Apple's push game in my opinion.

That being said, you're probably already gone, and this is coming from a man who doesn't have any of the games anymore, having lost them in various ways; and hasn't been on this site in months.

You will be missed here.

Only seems like yesterday I was playing Fable 2 for the first time on my Xbox 360 whilst trying my best to get along with everyone on this website in my weird, lol sorandomxD, 13 year old way

My deepest apologies.

Teenage girls now say kewl instead of cool. I was not wrong.

I am so sorry for the workers of Lionhead Studios. If not for them I never would have found something to look forward to doing after school. Fable will always be the best game out there to me and nothing can change that. I hope you guys re open one day. Fable was the first game I played and I started playing it when I was four. I have been playing it for almost twelve years and I will continue playing it for two things: 1.) The fun of the game. And 2.) The people who brought Fable to this world.

My dad had the original X-Box and once we went to Game Stop on my birthday and I used my birthday money to buy the first Fable game. When I saw it I knew I would like it because I have always like Magic, Guns, and Swords. I have been playing it since. My dad helped me play it and since then I have gotten better and better at it. I have been playing it since the beginning and will play it until I can't lift a controller no more.

ProjectEgo, will always be home for me.

Means a lot to us too. ^_^

We do have some ideas behind the scenes brewing so we may continue to be home to you all. :shifty:

I've been pointing people here from the Lionhead Forums. I'm guessing it will go off line April 13th with the game.

We aim to welcome them with open arms too and take in all of the homeless from there.
