Happy Canada Day!

Not sure how many of you are aware, but today is Canada's 140th birthday! :w00t:
As a proud patriot, Canada Day is one of my favourite days of the year, and I just wanted to wish the rest of the Canadians on the boards, few though they may be, a Happy Birthday! :w00t:

Well I'm not Canadian, but Happy Canadian Day, especially to you Hex!:thumbsup: It's good to be a proud patriot of our country.

I know this sounds silly and stupid, but sometimes I forget that Canada is another country, since it's close and everything. What I wouldn't give to get out of the US and go there. From what I've heard it's great and very beautiful.

I know this sounds silly and stupid, but sometimes I forget that Canada is another country, since it's close and everything. What I wouldn't give to get out of the US and go there. From what I've heard it's great and very beautiful.

In celebration we should all sing canada's national anthem, then shoot ourselves in the head for singing the damned song.

Damn that infernal land! If I could I would rid the world of the dark abyss that is canada, and for it the only reason known: being that it was the land from which my hellish banshee of an ex was spawned.

But I am not against the Canadaians(or not all at least) so I shall wish you a "damned infernal land" day. And celebrate you should for someday, It will no longer be...

Um... I think I'll stay away from calling Canada "infernal" or speculating on Bush plans for North American domination, and just say:

YAY CANADA! [Cheers] By the way-- you have a really cool flag. Yes, random.

I didn't realize that you had a day roughly analogous to Independence Day/the 4th of July three days before. Cool.

Do you get to have as much fun blowing things up as we do? I think I'll blow up a couple more fireworks in honor of the Canada day I missed. And from now on I shall always blow stuff up three days before the 4th, too. And New Years Eve. And Halloween. And Christmas. And any other excuse to play with fire.

yeah, we blow the hell out of everything while we drink copious amounts of beer... it's a hell of a combination...
but I don't know that Canada Day can really be said to be analogous of Independence Day... it's close to the same time, but that's about it... it's not a celebration of the day we gained our indepenence... it's the day of Confederation... so it's a bit different =]
