Help Me With My Project!!!
I am currently working on a very important project which is due horrifyingly soon and I need to ask the following questions to a minumum of 10 people, but preferably as many as possible...
anyone who can take the time to answer the questions below would really be helping me out a lot ^_^
I must stress that this is not about getting the answers right or wrong, I need to know what your gut answer is, so please don't go looking up the answers to these or it will skew the results of my project...
The purpose of this project is to perform an analysis between what people believe about health versus the facts about health from a Western biomedical perspective, and then to consider the possible ramifications this may have on the current medical system. There are no wrong answers, I just need to know what you feel the answers are.
1. Is it possible to get the flu from the flu shot?
2. Can you get sick or die from drinking too much water?
3. Where is the stomach located? How would you make the gesture for having a sore stomach? (where would you point on your body?)
4. How do antibiotics work? How long should you take them for and why?
5. How long could one live without food? Without water?
6. Which of the following is a stimulant? Alcohol, Ibuprofen, Chocolate.
7. What does it mean to have a high tolerance to a substance? Could a person become immune to the effects of alcohol, for instance?
8. Is there such a thing as "good fat" and "bad fat"?
9. Can you catch a cold from going outside in the cold with no jacket, or wet hair?
10. Is it harmful to the baby for a woman to engage in sexual activity while pregnant?
11. Can you get lead poisoning from a pencil?
12. What is a Naturopathic Doctor and how are they different than a Medical Doctor? Or are they not different at all?
13. What is the difference between naturopathic remedies and pharmaceutical remedies?
14. What do you believe to be the ideal weight for a woman of my height and age? (5 foot 9, 23)
15. Do you trust your Health practitioner, and are you honest with them at all times?
