Colour me intrigued
Hero Hiring?

I was musing over the horrible things i was going to do to Reaver if he returned in Fable 3 when i wondered if it would be possible to hire Theresa, Garth, Hammer and Reaver (or any combination of the four) as court officials after you overthrow Lucien. For instance Theresa as Court oracle, Hammer as a general, Garth as...magic man, and Reaver as the leader of the navy. I think i'd most likely hire Reaver to raid ships and towns with my navy. Anyway, penny for your thoughts?

Re: Hero Hiring?

+repI love to muse over, what I could do to Reever, also. :P
I think we will run into Hammer, or her daughter. Wanted poster on Hammer, in one of the concept art pictures.
Reever wants a favor, but what will I do with his help?:shifty:

A wanted poster on Hammer? O.o
Where'd youd find that concept art? ^_^

I'd like to see that as well, now I'm intrigued! I wonder what she's done.

Re: Hero Hiring?

Which stereotype was she? I don't remember monks getting drunk in pubs all the time.

Probably a vigilante. Though i find that a bit inplausible as when you were in the spire for 10 years she just at in a pub and got one half-arsed lead. Lazy-fat stereotype

Obviously she wasn't at the bar all days for the last 10 years. She was doing random tasks and missions as a hero during the time. However, Lionhead found unnecessary to explain what others did through that time.

Oh, many people enjoy bars, especially those of the days in Fable II. That doesn't make her a lazy person, that could make her a manly-girl, but other than that I wouldn't call her a "stereotype".

She isn't fat, what makes her size are her muscles, not fat.

Was she old?

After The Spire, she was kinda in her mid 30's counting towards 40's. So, yes she's getting old with time. However she will appear in Fable III, at least, that's a voice that's around, there are some Hammer wanted posters around the trailers.

Re: Hero Hiring?

During those 10 years I thought she went back to the monks to study with them for a time.

Anyway, you've just inspired me to conscript a Hammer Avatar and sig, so thanks!

Your welcome.

No, she didn't go back to the monks to study with them. She went back, sometimes to visit her father's grave (she mentions that). However, she has been probably doing the usual hero work around Albion while waiting for the hero's return with Theresa (of course while working on the final plan).

She also mentions that she wanted to smack Theresa because she's being annoying with all her hero-related prophecies and future seeing.

Re: Hero Hiring?

I just remember the Hammer x Garth conversation where she talks about visiting the monks and how they are still spouting the same nonsense. 'Yes, how could anything that old have any truth to it,' says garth. '...if you swallow it all it can get you killed.' 'For once we are in agreement.'

I remember it because it was the preachy bit of the game.

Maybe she's evil now? That would be an emotional experience, and they seem keen on them at Lionhead. Or perhaps she's sabotaging factories to save the children from forced labour. Either would explain the warrants
Yeah, once a goody two shoe, always a goody two shoe - like me
Well in my first playthrough anyway :shifty:

As much as I really wanted to kill Hammer in Fable II, I'm probably gonna get nostalgic when I see her all old and criminal.

Reaver! I kinda like him, but he's gay, so I don't wanna like him too much. Probably gonna end up killing him, just to prove how straight I really am. :ninja:

Yeah! I'll shut Reavers Rear Entrance up for good this time!:P
