Re: Heroes getting weaker.

theresa being immortal makes me wonder if she had foreseen the events of fable 2, since she plays a big part in it, but even so, it would mean she is the reason behind things like the death of rose, since theresa gave the music box to murgo.

and the fact she can foresee things better now with the spire, her aspirations must be quite high.

it would be weird if she became a villain in f3

Re: Heroes getting weaker.

^if she didnt give the music box to murgo which led to Sapprow's sisters death, what wouldve been Sparrow's motivation to kill Lucien, and her death indicated strongly that Lucien was the bad guy. if that didnt happen we wouldve had to wait until he made an evil wish when the spire was complete, and by then it wouldve been too late

exactly, rose had to die to save mankind.

Re: Heroes getting weaker.

yes, but still it was her choice leading to the death of rose.
and apparently she can see multiple futures, meaning some futures could achieve the same effect by different means.

considering she was an all powerful hero, why couldn't she just go and kill lucien before he became mad.

im sure if someone had to die, then it would be the only successful future, otherwise she wouldve obviously chosen one more benficial. and who else would Sparrow seek vengeance for, his parents that he doesnt live with? the bird that poops on his head?or the person he was closest to all his childhood life?

Re: Heroes getting weaker.

in fable 1 she would kill any bandit who rised against her, and she was blind aswell, which would mean her powers aren't just a small fraction.

Re: Heroes getting weaker.

have you played fable 1?
he is a very strong hero who isn't afraid to kill

Re: Heroes getting weaker.

its the hero bloodline that lets her see into the future.
you say her intentions are good, and she is of hero blood, so why isn't she a hero, because she doesn't fight?...

Re: Heroes getting weaker.

Theresa can't be much of a serees anyway. She does nothing to stop Jack of Blades ripping her eyes out, her mother being imprisoned, Maze betraying the Hero or indeed her own brother supposedly killing her.

She hadn't developed her seeress powers until after she'd had her eyes revoked. Aside from that, carry on.

Re: Heroes getting weaker.

she was a child when her eyes were ripped out, and even then, she sensed it, as a nightmare.
and when you first/second meet her as a teen/adult, she said about the sword and the sacrifice.
which at the end she tells you it is the time where you kill her for the sword of eons

Re: Heroes getting weaker.

She does speak openly of the choices that must be made. Seers are always a little weird in such tales... just because you can foresee does not mean you can decipher or change.

I don't believe she is a hero, but it is undenyable that she has considerable power. None of the bandits could beat her in combat and it is she that first awakens the archons' blood in the hero of Oakvale. She's more of an arbiter, she watches from a distance and guides... I certainly like how they made her even MORE sinister in Fable II (nice one Zoe) and can't wait to see the role she plays in III.

Re: Heroes getting weaker.

Well, tis true. She doesn't seem to care about the result. She moves in mysterious ways, like a ninja :ninja:
