housing/marital problem.

Ok so I married lady grey. Our marital home was set as castle fairfax, and we ended up getting divorced when she saw me cheating on her with two hookers. lmao. but after we got divorced, it still says that the house has a set budget. i can't resale the house and i can't have another family in it. is there any way to fix it or am i just boned?

Re: housing/marital problem.

Yeah you're screwed bro.

I waited to move into the Fairfax Castle with my Wife, then we had a Little Girl named Kate. :D

But my Xbox broke < / 3 so no more Wife or Kate.

Re: housing/marital problem.

I had a similar problem in Bowerstone Market when I returned from defeating Lucien, brought my family to life, and then a few days later my husband just disappeared. That's gratitude for you. I searched everywhere, even went to sleep because he had a habit of walking in whenever I woke up, but nothing. The house we lived in was very nice (at his insistance) so I would like to rent it out but I can't because he's supposedly living there. My solution was to make him divorce me so I set his upkeep to zero and replaced as much of the nice furniture as I could with crap. I even married some other guy and put him in the house next door! So now my missing husband is still married to me , still missing, but now he's unhappy with me and "very unhappy" with his upkeep.

Re: housing/marital problem.

I didn't mention the strangest part. We had a son named Dean and now he won't leave. At all. He's always there. He lives in that same damn house. By himself. But since my new family lives next door, he comes over all the time and interacts with my new husband and kid as if he is a stepson. When I first married the new guy and had a kid, my son would run over the her crib and start dancing and goofing off to make her laugh. Now that she's older they're constantly hanging out (my daughter will sometimes turn up at my missing husband's house, too). It can be unsettling because my existant husband will comment about having everything we need, then my daughter will thank me for making sure she has a pantload of toys all the time, then my son will ask why he never has any food and why's his dad so unhappy, and then he starts crying.
