How can I speed up my Pc? perhaps easily?

I just hooked up my Pc in my room, I finally got all the parts I needed. I have a subwarfer and this hook up is pretty swell I must say.

I am using a HP pavillion Slimline s7410n Pc

At first it was horrificly slow but after it got running it got much faster, it's still doesn't have that crisp speed of my family comp though. I analyzed the disc space and it says none of them need defragmenting.

Are there other ways, easy or not, to make it run fresh and new?

I'm not looking for an overhaul just want it to run without worrying about loading for 5secs on a page or buffering videos.

Any help or advice is much appreciated.

Run Anti-Virus scan, download Malwarebytes and do a scan with that, do a disk cleanup and download Ccleaner and do a scan with that. Can also check start up programmes with Ccleaner and make sure nothing is running at startup that shouldnt be or isnt needed. Uninstall any programs or games you arent using/playing anymore.

Invest in some sort of clockwork system to wind it up at the back.

The best ways to speed up your computer are to upgrade the CPU and the RAM. Anything else is probably not going to make much of a difference.
