Well your name will always be Sparrow but you can get a title what is basically a name. Just walk up to a town crier and press A, Then it tells you how to unlock them or you can just buy them chose the one you want and Bingo. Everyone will call you that, Mine is Shadowfiend Mwuhahaa!

also, theres one unique title with every town crier. one title that doesnt show that that you have to unlock to show is the King/Queen title by buying 2million dollars worth of property, including the castle.
