How do i play online

My Xbox did the patch but i still dont know ho to get online please help

do you mean fable or do you mean all the games?

With fable 2 you 'don't have an option to play mutlriplayer but you need to go to options on the main screen or in game when you press start and in that menu you can change your online options you can choose to see everybody online(orbs) or only your friends.
then when you play the game and you go to, lets say bowerstone you'l see floating orbs.
these orbs are other player and u can trade with'em or play with'em. to do this first lock them with LT and then press the A button

And then choose interact and then choose how much experience and gold you both shall get, then press a to accept then start having fun unless you think the other part is fun^^
