How to Create a shop shortage?

First off, im new to these forums, as a registered member, though ive reffered to this site for when i was lost in fable2 (as far as demon doors and legendary weapons go). Anyways also i'd like to apologize if this topic has already been discussed.

Ive been buying items off blacksmiths and the jeweler trying to create a shortage or sale or SOMETHING. ingame, its been like 12 years since ANY sale has happened or shortage or anything at all under the 'sales' tab. Its getting frustrating.

I also recently fixed my router to do a co-op game and never done one before if anyone wants to play some fable

I'm not sure, but I think if you own all the shops, sales dont happen

Shortages are randomly scripted - you cannot create them or influence them.

And owning all the shops doesn't stop sales from happening.

It depends, if you have a defeated Lucien the sales stop I think. The same has happened to me
