I can't find my wife

I married Elise and we moved into a house in Millfields. I would get the heart icon come up on the D-pad display. But then after a while, the heart disappeared and so did the heart above our house in Millfields. She seemed to have disappeared on my and when I check the stats, it still says I am married and no divorces. Can I get her back or has she left me?

You try moving her somewhere else? Maybe she'll respawn there.

I sold the house we moved into and she's no where to be found.

Maybe she was killed? Millfields is full of bandits and balverines depending on how far you are in the game. That's why I always send my families to either Bowerstone or Brightwall.

I never went far into the game to marry anyone because they could never be as evil as me.
I mean, there was that one street whore who wanted me to bump off that girl stealing her clients.
She made a good candidate, however my relationship level could not go any higher.
