So you do IT...what exactly is your new role going to be? Telling people to turn their computers on and off again (my modem actually says that on the front..."if you experience trouble with your connection, try turning the modem and computer on and off again")?

Either way, it's always great when you get a new job, better money and more time lazing around in bed :D

MONEY! [drool] Good for you. I can also fully sympathize with any joy over a shorter commute. It takes 40 minutes to an hour to get to my damn school (long story). So congrats on your... uh... what percent of 90 is 89? (Uh... 89/90=.98=98%) Uh.. your 98% decrease in commute, unless my math sucks as usual.
Well it's 90 to 9 so that's a 90% decrease

Sure thing but I think your commute will be slightly longer unless you Sharon and Jess are planning to hop the pond and join the rebellious colony

Thanks for all the well wishes everyone :D:D:D:D:D:D

Re: I got a new Job

90%... 98%... what's the difference? I think I may have meant 89% and typoed, then continued the typo, though. Or at least I hope I did. That's a big difference. And I should have been able to realize I was wrong just looking at it. Dammit, I hate math! I can't even figure out a goddamned percentage!

*****ing about math out of the way, nice way of putting it.

C'mon, it's not THAT long. Just... uh, how long is that flight?

And I take offense at the "rebellious colony" thing. I'll have you know that, aside from William Paca and I think Thomas Stone, the government of colonial Maryland was solidly simpering Tory. Even told the last governor, whose name I forget, that we'd be happy to have him back after the war was over. Course, we were also the somewhat melodramatic "Bayonet of the Revolution" and the "Maryland Line"/"Old Line State," so we were just as contradictory as usual. Though, of course, the phrase does fit good old "Live Free or Die" New Hampshire perfectly.

Hmmm... sorry about the tangent. Congrats on your job again!

EDIT: Eden! That was his name. Robert Eden, I think.
