I Hate Group Projects...

So I recently did a group presentation concerning Irish-American heritage in my Communications class. The presentation was very unorganized and rocky, because there was no group effort at all. I ended up typing up everything and putting it all together the night before (I finally got to sleep at 5AM and then had to walk to school at 8AM) I was so relieved when it was finally over, but now comes the problem of group member evaluations.
Apparently a portion of the group's grade depends on the kind of evaluation we all receive from our group members. One of the group members contacted me today and told me to rate every as putting in 5/5 in effort and whatnot so we could receive a higher grade. I blatantly told him that I would give everyone what they deserved and he's now all frustrated with me because I won't lie for his grade.
Is it fair that I should have to share a good grade with a bunch of morons who pushed all the work on me? No, I don't think so. I'm not going to take that kind of crap. Even if the whole group's grade suffers, I refuse to lie and share the credit for all the work that is mine.
I'm not about to save their asses again, they deserve whatever **** grade our group receives. I don't even care about my own grade, it's a pointless class and I know I'll end up passing by the end of term so it's of very little importance to me what sort of grade we get on this.
I only hope that I never have to work with that group again because they hate me immensely at the moment. [/rantover]

Stupidity is one of the worst sins there is. You shouldn't let them mooch of your effort like that!

Rate the hell out of their sorry asses! I know your pain, I've found myself in that position far too many times for my liking Unfortunately the Teach' simply rated us all as a group and gave everyone the same grade.

So, I repeat, rate the hell out of them! Do it for me, for I never received a chance to have my revenge of my lazy group members...

rate them what they deserve, mabey it will teach them something. Iv had to deal with simmilar situations, and I didnt give my "team" credit for jack. one time I also had to put up with some jackass who tryed to take over the project entrily. basicly he wanted to do it all himself and let the rest of us pretend we helped. I would not allow sutch an insult to my intelligence, and neither would the rest of my team. we did the project without him and then the day it was to be presented he actually had the nerve to give us cards of what we were supposed to say. jackass. we turned in our own project and he did his solo, i think he got a poor grade aswell. his project sucked, he didnt even know what he was doing. and thats why I always work solo, even on team projects. unless or corse i am forced to work in a team.

I hated doing any sort of group project at school because invariably I'd be the only one actually doing any work and then everyone else would take the credit - or worse, I'd get graded down because they'd rather get stoned and sleep around than do some work for once in their lives.

Last project I had which involved others I'd had enough and told my tutor exactly what was going on - he gave me an A* and the others were kicked off the course entirely for slacking. Harsh but necessary, methinks. And they weren't even bothered as it gave them more time to do stupid things so win-win all round, I suppose.

I refuse to work in groups, it's annoying because i always get matched up with people who lack intelligence, it's so damn annoying. I mean I'm actualy pretty damn smart when i can be arsed and to be put with idiots who's best idea is always " hey guys let's make it somthing funny hahahahha, like i pick my nose and slap steve" so annoying, now i just tell me teacher i work alone because people just get in the way, so long as i deliver A grade work he couldn't care less.

LMAO yo guys will never make i aywere if you cant handle supidity. I hate group projects I can do everything on my own. Ive never had a bad experiance like that and alotta times I let people copy or see my werk its no matter to me.

I can work with others - I just don't like other people and find them terminally stupid (or obnoxiously self-obsessed with their "intellect").

It's probably why I've never been able to work with people in any of my jobs...they just irritate me with their inability to do anything. If you want it done right, do it yourself. Or get some minion to do it for you who won't completely cock it up.

I hate group projects for many reasons... Not because I do all the work, most of the time we all chip in but I always get joined together people I dislike.
