I HATE YOU GOD

I've just started training in Aikido the last few, and i seriously screwed up yesterday. I punched a guy with my thumb sticking out, and i've completely knackered it. So guess what? I CAN'T ****ING PLAY VIDEOGAMES!
The Wii might actually have a use after all.
Anyone else had any injuries that ****blocked their gaming?

Jeez that sucks....

I have a tendency of falling and landing on my hands and scraping the living hell out of my palms, that usually messes with gameing for a week or two. Iv never broken any bones or anything though. Thats why I would prefer to have an injury in my foot rather than my hand. an injury in the foot is easyer to deal with I think.

Well there was this one time were I had finished finding all the silver keys in Fable 2 and I opened the chest in Fair Fax Castle and got a lousy 50.000 Gold which I did not need so I punched the wall out of anger and I kinda broke my finger and I couldn't play games for four freaking days My finger is still broke but I can play games any time I want but at the moment I have pretty much lost intrest in gaming but I Hope your thumb recovers so you can get back to playing your favourite games

I worry about hand injuries moreso from a guitarist perspective, but it's essentially the same.

Yikes. Bad luck, HH. I've never broken a digit before I can imagine it hurts like hell! Hopefully you'll make a quick recovery and can return to punching other guys. :P

That sucks, but at least you did that on an accident, I knew this guy who was convinced his thumb stuck out when he made a fist.

And yeah, I've had my hand crushed with a hammer when I was in my Grandfather's workshop, something happened and my hand slipped and wham, 5 months in a cast.

I didn't break it lol, hopefully it;s just bruised. I can move it and stuff but it hurt slike hell.

And zjuggernaut, you FAIL, you yellowbeltfag. Aikido is AWESOME. Muggers might expect to punch them... probably don't expect you to snap their wrist ligament.

If a mugger had any sense he'd just shoot you in the face and then rob you... and yes, I'm from New York and can drift off to sleep by the sound of car alarms and gun shots, I believe that makes me an authority on this subject.
@ Urahara - God is a convenient scapegoat for blaming problems on that are caused strictly by human stupidity. Or if it was His fault, Harlot, maybe he's trying to tell you to stop wasting your time playing video games and do something constructive.

I had blisters on my blisters and it hurt like hell to use the RT and LT buttons the on the 360 controller. Hehe.

And, I cut my finger in half, index, right hand, so you see how that affected school work and gaming. I'm right handed, by the way.

I once cut into my index 1 and 1/2 inches down the line with a rusty razor... Also, when I was 6 months old, all my fingernails got ripped off.

Aikido is constructive! Can't you see the life value of learning to cripple people? :D
And don't try to pull all your ghetto crap on me, I'm from a quiet(ish) UK area and I honestly do not give a crap what you hear at night

No need to be hostile. What area, by the way? And I'm pretty sure that British people don't say ghetto.

I don't hate God, you cannot hate something you don't believe exists.

If I don't believe in God, then what suggests that I believe in hell? :P
