Strange. I always figured Maul to be all black besides the facial features. Or atleast, dominant black, not red.

you realise how difficult it is to make tattoos? Especially one that looks like darth maul?

I admire the intrigue design of Maul's skin, and I think he is a very talented person. But its just something I don't like, looks a bit too sci-fi lol...

Yes, that is correct. It is an adaption to be used in Fable. Tattoos were never ment to make you look like a Sith anyway - I think it is pretty good if you consider what the creator had to work with.
