I can believe in a God, I just can't believe in an all-powerful-perfect-god, because there isn't one...

The fact that the world is slowly corrupting and genocide, natural disasters, rape, killing, slavery (some parts of the world) and people being born with problems just shows that this so called "powerful being" is not perfect. This being just sits back and watches our suffering. I personally can't believe that theres an powerful perfect being that created everything.

Zencidal and Firis should watch this. this is my thoughts on religion, presented by my personal hero, who I think is the funnyest man who ever lived. you will both enjoy it. yes I made this entire think a link. Im not sure why.

I'm not religious but if particular components of a particular faith help some people to focus on what matters in life and helps them to live in a way which is beneficial, then more power to them.

A lot of sweeping statements with little research being made here, however...

I'm not religious nor have I ever been. I don't need anyone else's set of rules to tell me to treat people with respect, with consideration for their feelings and to not judge them. It's a shame that those who profess to some special relationship with their God, don't treat their fellow man or woman in the same way. It's fine to have faith, I'm happy for those that feel it adds to their life, but what good is that if you can't be bothered to wish a friend Happy Birthday or send a card on Mothers Day?
