If He's Right, We're ****ed

Well, I'm a strong believer in Nostradamus, and as you may or may not know, he could supposedly tell future events. Now I'm gonna cut to the chase. He predicted three anti-christs, as he called them. These were evil people, to say the least. The first 2 he predicted as men. Napolean and Adolf Hitler. Now, he said these were going to, pretty much, mass killings. Now the 3rd is to be a woman, and will be dressed in blue as she first appears. Now, here's my theory.

As George Bush started the Iraq war, things have been bad, but he's kept it in their country. Now, as you may or may not know, He has almost served his 2 full terms of presidency. Now, he will be kicked out and the main person running for his spot would be Hilary Clinton. She is, obviously a woman, but you know, how could she be the next anti-christ? Who knows. She may or may not be. But If she comes walking in in a blue suit, stick your head up your *** and run for the hills. Cause we'll be ****ed. Iraqi's are ruthless, and will not hesitate to slaughter the innocent.

Well, you all now are probably thinking I'm insane, or thinking "who the hell is Nostradamus?" Well, look here.

Nostradamus said a lot of things... he wrote mainly in riddles... and given the passage of enough time, any riddle can be made to seem as prophesy if people wish it to look that way...

Then I shall begin...

Nostradamus = bull****

Its simple to made predictions as he did, many people have done it. All it takes is a vague prediction, then an event to happen, and the people who took it serious apply it to the situation and voila! It all fits perfectly. Now answer me this, why didn't they see all these events before they happened? Where were the "believers" when the atomic bombs were constructed and dropped, I assume Robert Oppenheimer knew about Nostradamus, he was an educated man. Why didn't someone of the hundreds of scientists who I'm sure were familiar with Nostradamus' writings come out and say "Hey I think Nostradamus was correct?"

I personally couldn't care, if they die..they die. I don't really believe in or follow any religious beliefs, Though i do recall the other colossal prediction by the Mayans, which was said that the earth or humanization will end in 2012. Though the mayans have never been wrong in their predictions, this prediction has however been taken way out of context, and misunderstood. The Earth not blowing up or anything, but only the shift of the magnetic system in space, causing alot of major breakdowns/shutdowns in technology everywhere.

Which Quatrain(s) are you referencing with your interpretations of his predictions? The true of these are in the interpretation not so much about what will or won't happen or even what was or wasn't predicted. The truth told is more about the person making the predictions than what is predicted.

it doesn't require hope so much as reason... while anything is possible, the sheer likelihood of him actually having predicted these things, rather than it being man's ridiculous attempts to give meaning to meaningless riddles, is just too low for me to consider it as plausible...

Nostradamus, is quite frankly as Fablefreak put it; B.S. He has made tons and tons of these 'predictions' and they are all very cryptic so it depends on who reads them.

The Adolf Hitler one, for example, he did not predict Hitler at all. The 'evil man' he talked about just sounded like Hitler, namely 'hiter' or something like that. It all boils down to people who wants to believe to overlook the obivous flaws and as such have credited things that sounded vaugely like his predictions to him..

As for 9/11, this is what our dear friend Nostradamus has to say;

The year 1999, seventh month,
From the sky will come a great King of Terror,
To bring back to life the great King of the Mongols,
Before and after Mars will reign at will

The sky will burn at 45 degrees latitude,
Fire approaches the great new city,
Immediately a huge, scattered flame leaps up,

Will cause the towers around the new city to shake,

And then Arethusa shall color a new river red And of course the above quatrain is quite eerie

Now, with keeping the 9/11 events in mind is seems pretty scary and accurate, no? However, if you look past that it could be just about anything. I mean, it could be about a volcano or something. As I said, it all boils down to people who "wants to believe".

Iraqis? Do you mean people living in iraq? If so that is a very simple-minded and offensive thing to say...

Nostradamus, like loads of other doom sayers, spoke in riddles and everything is laced with ambiguity. It's a case of reading what you want to read into what he has said and if you do that then you'll be seeing the anti Christ everywhere

Exactly, alot of people tend to mistranslate these ancient predictions and all it does is start silly crap and suspicions.

Did you ever see the movie 23? If you're looking for something like the date to the end of the world, you'll find it, because that's what you're looking for.
People find similarities because they look for them. They try and make it fit together so they can say "OMG end of the world, because this book says two twins will crumble, that's the two towers! OMG!"..*shrug* same type of concept to me.

Nostradamus made at least 200,000 predictions books full of them, some text books refer to him as insane. if i made 200,000 predictions one or two probably would come true its almost an inevitability

one prediction of his,
fire will rain from the sky as the two towers of the new city will fall... im presuming he means 9/11. but i was looking for a reference to 9/11, its completely in your heads, he was a metaphorical trickster
