I'd choose to be Altair (Assassin's Creed), Aang or Zuko (Avatar: The Last Airbender) Gold (Pokemon Gold/Silver/Crystal), or Goku (Dragon Ball Z). These are a few characters that I would have chosen, but they suffer too much loss:

If you check the History, you'd find out that I originally had that in my original first post.

I then remembered that through playing the games, he didn't get lucky as frequently as one might think.
