Important: Question for Non-English Members

Okay, first off, it's not a terribly important question but it is something I could use some help with.

This is aimed at all the Americans, Swedes, Dutch - basically every different nationality other than British - members of the forum.

Question: Do you know what "randy" means? Without Googling it, I mean.

Don't laugh. This r serious business.

It's a very popular British slang word.

100 rep points to anyone who replies with an answer. There is no right or wrong answer. This is kind of... an experiment.

Mucho love.

Re: Important: Question for Non-English Members

Hmm, randy, sounds kind of familiar. I`m not sure, but I`d say it`s something to do with personality, seems logical. We`ll see.

Randy i may be but no Andy is my real name. ;)

Well Andrew if you want to get technical but no-one calls me that unless they want to moan at me for something.

Re: Important: Question for Non-English Members

WooW!!!
that's aweseom!

Re: Important: Question for Non-English Members

...You didn't know that Randy was also a common Name?

Re: Important: Question for Non-English Members

I've heard it a lot in the Austin Powers flicks, other British cinema, and the R.A.B. Series when Puppy says:
"Whenever I'm espeshially RANDY, I just get a little Connerish in my voish ish all. But I'll thank you to shtay out of my pershonal affairsh."

So yeah, I say sekshually aroused, horny, whatever you want to call it.

Re: Important: Question for Non-English Members

A few years ago I watched a Boy George interview where he stated, "just thinking about a good rogering makes me randy" I inferred what they both must mean from his smile and body language. He was obviously being naughty.

Re: Important: Question for Non-English Members

Something to do with sex I think

Re: Important: Question for Non-English Members

I heard it the Austin Powers flicks too, that's it really. "You make me randy, baby." Close to that I think.

But if you don't mind, could I ask what the "oi" thing is. I thought it might mean "hey" or something, though I'm unsure. I'm not good with any form of slang really, even the American bred.

Re: Important: Question for Non-English Members

I think the "non-British" folks who have posted before me have pretty much declared the meaning of the word in British slang, which is sexually aroused or as the phrase goes: "a little hot under the collar".:P
