you know what would be kool, if they made a new magic spell/gun thing but if you could shoot chains out of your sleeves that would be sick and like make them stuck and tied up and they would like crush you/ trap your enemy that would be so sick

Well he's not really creating energy or destroying it, he said that the weapon absorbs energy from the skies and unleashes it upon an enemy. However the part which he says that the enemy would turn into energy, is kinda weird, i don't really understand it.

no you can't because they don't spin around you they just shoot out, what garth does is he can walk around with them spinning around his body and not use them intill he has to that is what i ment

I wouldn't really make much difference, to be honest. He can project his blades instantly, so can you. It would be purely aesthetic, and why not just put the effort into a whole new spell?
