I haven't the faintest idea of how to go about developing an iPhone application. If I did though, I'd definitely release a Fable-themed fart ap. There aren't nearly enough fart applications on the iPhone(!)

I wish I could get my hands on an iPhone - I only know of one other person with an iPhone. I wouldn't mind optimizing the site for an iPhone and checking to see if the majority of pages render correctly.

Still, if ever I decide to get one (very unlikely), I might check out the SDK and see how easy it would be to make an ap.

i've visited the site on an iphone before, and it does run rather slowly. that could just be the iphone browser, though.

those of you who actually own iphones, are there any pages that load differently on the iphone? because with projectego it displays the entire page and you have to zoom in to see anything.

Yes, google, wikipedia, yahoo, most grand internet sites have "movile" ionterface.

Why would we need a dedicated app? We're a news and forums community... just use bookmarks and RSS feeds. lol
