Is It Possible

we all know that "the daichi" is the best legendary weapon in the game, i was wondering (this also concerns the knew 4 augmentation slot weapons from knothole island DLC) if that it is possible to create a weapon better than the daichi? using the right aumentations and weapon i was just wondering if this is a possobility?

if the outcome was posotive and the created weapon was better than the diachi then it could very well add a bit off variety to online trading.

I tried that, i still think The Daichi is a overall better weapon than the 4 slot combination one, even with the msot expensive achievements.

that sucks, ah well looks like the diachi wins again
for those of you who dont know i have an unmatchable grudge against the diachi lol dont ask why i dont even know, and ive just noticed that if all weapons are in order of how powerful they are then the wreckager (LE content) is the second best weapon! which is strange i always thought it wasnt that good a weapon

And still, melee weapons are history now, everyones talking about Hals Rifle! Have you seen that baby? Best weapon in the game, no doubt!

Where does one get these 4-slot weapons? I only found one 3-slot weapon when I went to knothole...

At which shop? I got the 3-slot weapon in a chest.

The stonecutters shop is next to the Box of Secrets building.

As far as the Daichi goes, I think you can definitely make a better weapon depending on what you think "better" means. For straight damage, it depends on how much damage each augment adds (which of course no one knows). The Daichi does 25 more base damage per hit then a Master Katana, plus Devastation and Killerwatt augments. If you placed the same two augments in a Master Katana, the remaining two would only need to make up that 25 point difference for them to be equal.

But there's also more to just augments then damage. If a weapon dealt 15 less damage per hit then the Daichi, but reduced the damage you recieved and drained your victims health so you never got hurt, would it be "better"? That's all up to the player.

Luck and Skill / Lucky Charm don't stack I thought, because they both give the same effect.

i think my master katana is better then the daichi now

same augs dont stack 'luck and skill' and 'lucky charm' are not the same

yes ive tested a theory out, if you had two augs that have the same effect but different names you WILL get the benifet of the two augs

I've got a Master Longsword and a Master Flintlock Pistol with the same augments: Devastation, Luck and Skill, Luck and Life, and It's Not Luck!

Hmm it would be nice with a damage count, so you could see how much damage you dish out - Fable 1 had it
Then we would finally be able to determine weather or not it is possible to create a sword better than the Daichi

i agree, then again i use "The Wretcher" simply becuase it looks aawwwssoomme! i guess the diachi has lost this time =]
i beat the diachi atlast on "which weapon looks better"
