Is there any way to restart a game on iphone/itouch?

I mean the kind that has levels and you want them locked again..

I cannot check if by removing the app completelly as it's now paid.. Is it in any way possile?

Just start at level one?
I also assume that it varies from app to app.

Pretty sure you can clear cache and data in games in the application settings menu that should clear saved data.
