Snazzy new foresty-style background. It looks good!

Preferred the old one, to be honest. This one makes it feel too different.

Yeah the new forum background theme is pretty sweet ! Noticed as soon as I logged in. I approve :D

Well I'm using Firefox and it's fitting together fine. I don't like how the old main bit just sits in the middle of the new background. Sticks out like dogs balls on a cat.

Just like the several other background changes we've had in the past, my opinion is the same.

It's great to look at, at the top at least.

When I scroll down and the side border stays in the same position it doesn't feel nice.

At least the old one had a gradient of sorts.

Good job though. :thumbsup:

EDIT: Also, I love what you've done with the top of the page.

Yeah i can see how that would work, also saves me squinting so much when im flipping between forums as this one has much brighter skin than the rest. :lol:

Actually? I'm getting it, too, but only on some pages. And its size varies. In IE.

EDIT: I just spoiler-tagged my image to see if maybe that was stretching it, but it was still there after. It's on the first page of this thread, but not the second.

It's very interesting, and it will just take some getting used to. If it blended better with the rest of the forum page though, it would look even better. I'd say it's a step forward. Nice work. :thumbsup:

Thanks for the comments, folks. Two questions for you guys:

1. Would you guys like me to see how the forum looks with a different colour category bar? The category bar is basically the yellow bar which features everywhere around the forum. I was thinking rather than green, a subtle grey; I might just see how that looks now and you guys can let me know what you think.

2. If you guys like the new default
vBulletin 4.0 template then we can use that instead but with our own header and background tile graphics.

Which version of Firefox are you using and what is your current monitor resolution. I'm afraid I can't replicate this using my localhost testing environment without as much info as possible. Whoever else is getting this error do please chime in as well. I'll attempt a fix now but unless I either get confirmation from you guys that it did the trick or I can reproduce the error then there's not alot I can do.

Edit: Nevermind, it's an easy fix. I'll have it sorted in just a tick.
