Just to double check, what's the most powerful weapon in Fable II

Most sites I went to said the daichi. Is that true? I have it already and I'm not even that far into the game. Is there also possibly one that does about the same damage but with empty augment slots? I really wanted to use the augment that takes your enemies health and transfers it to you, but if I have to get a weapon thats much less powerful, it doesn't seem worth it

no, the daichi is the most powerful, but if u want to use a different weapon with the afects of 4 augments buy 2 of those same weapons and put in the augments you want in them, then equip 1 and then equip the other one.

It isn't always the same actually. It's all about the preference, and your chosen abilities. For instance, the Daichi, is indeed, one of the most inclusive weapons (means I do not count the Wreckager, it's crap anyways). If your character doesn't use strength/physical, wielding a weapon wouldn't really be... you know.
Anyhow, I'd go for the Daichi as well. Have fun!

I read about a sword that does 255 damage when the daichi only does 96, it says you get it by marrying lady grey and making her happy. This seems like a much better weapon, why would the daichi be considered better?

the daichi is the best melee wep hopfuly when the DLC comes out there will be new legendary weps

Actually I would say the Enforcer is the most powerfull seeing as it does 170 damage or so.

i think youre talking about the solus greatsword from fable 1 and tlc. the physically strongest wep is the enforcer, with 170 dmg, but then if you dont have any accuracy, obviously something like a hammer would do more damage.

The enforcer is the most powerful gun yes, but it is not the best, the best would be 'The Perforator' the gun you receive for opening the Demon Door in Wraithmarsh.... Its damage is only 81, but it reloads incredibly fast, (a high skill level also improves this) and it has 3 augments that make it a kick ass gun....

That weapon is, as Jack already stated, the Solus Greatsword from TLC.

well the diachi is the best statisticly but it depends on what you favour, if you favour cleavers then the cleaver is obiously the best weapon to you, i recommend using the 4 augument slot weapons you get from knothole island if your like me and HATE the diachi =]

ok. i understand that the enforcer does more damage. but i don't like the looks of it. haveing to carry it on my back makes me look properly intimidating. id rather use a master flintlock pistol or the red dragon with i think lvl 4 dexterous styles (for selecting certain parts of the body) and blowing there heads off.

Yea that's true. Like, if you go on your list of weapons, it says the Daichi is (Best). I think it's the best unstatistically. I love how fast that thing is. And it causes awesome damage. So I would say the Daichi.
