Well she put all the obstacles of a new enlightened kingdom in the way (your hero) and I presume those artifacts that he found telling the future must have come from theresa so yes she is both evil and cunning.

Personally I think Lucien's the minion of Theresa. Of course he wanted to use the Spire for his own purposes, but I guess Theresa made sure that didn't happen.kphillips15;249980 said:

I think one of the mistakes being made is we keep trying to lump people into good and evil and are overlooking the new aspects of the game, such as purity and corruption. I think I remember PM saying in an interview somewhere that he wanted to draw away from the notion of evil and good being like black and white. Personally, I don't think anybody was just cold blooded evil... like Jack of Blades was for instance. Lucien was corrupt and stark raving mad if you ask me. While Theresa may come off a little evil, it's impossible to know if she is taking the Spire with pure or corrupt motives at this time, so we'll just have to wait.

it kind of twigged in me that perhaps there was a little more than coincidence going on by this point that everywhere you go trouble follows you...yes I'm slow - sue me.

I don't think Lionhead would make such a benevolent, mentor character from the first one evil. I think we're all just reading a bit too much into it. The only real reason for thinking this are her quotes:

im positive theresa is the one from the first one guys so why is it still bieng debated, a definate yes wewd be nice for alot of questions though. This is only the second thread on theresa's morality so stop crying or dont click the link wewd be gewd. I'm sure fable 3 will answer some questions but leave 20 more out there for us. Lucin wasnt a minoin of theresa just a puppet like you were.

omg that got me thinking: family would bring back dead family. hero of oakvale was family. scarlet robe was family. scythe was family. think of all the people it could have broughten back.
also imo theresa is good. i think her intentions are good and i dont get why people think lucien was a puppet. lucien started building the spire BEFORE he knew who theresa was.
another one, the pacifist monk part, she was stating a fact. what if your hero was a pacifist monk? GOOD LUCK KILLING LUCIEN. heroes cant be pacifists.
another thing lucien knew who theresa was because the spire granted him visions in his dream, become sort of a seeres like theresa. listen to his diary.
another thing, maybe theresa said for you to begone from the spire because she had the feeling you would get tempted and possibly use the spire for more evil things and she stays there so nobody attempts to take it over.
also the queen of blades however might be a possibility. in the hero of oakvale book, it states that he wielded the sword of aeons, but to do so you must kill theresa, and since the sword of aeons came from the void (originally wielded by jack of bladed untill william stole it from him) maybe it banished her to the void when you kill her and the queen takes over her and uses her body as a host (just like jack of blades used the mask to take over hosts) which could also explain why she is still alive and why she can see in other world. hmmm so many things possible

I dont know I havent really though about it i just kind of went along with the game so saying that i dont really think she is evil but maybe she is I dont know but she did give the choice of 3 nice wishes at the end she couldve said you can become the most famous person in Albion and everybody has no choice but to worship the ground you walk on because theyre really scared of you or something , but she didnt they were nice wishes so I dont think she is I just think shes a little selfish XD and I agree with DataHero I love her nose too
