Knights of the Nine

Yesturday I got the exspansions for Oblivion. Knights of the Nine and Shivering Isles. Question. How do I start Knights of the Nine? All I know is that theres a prophet outside Anvils chapel and he starts it. but hes not there. anyone know EXACTLY how i can start KotN questline?

If you talk to random people around Anvil they should mention a prophet and maybe at the church they should mention him. And then h should be in the usual spot in Anvil.

When they did the expansions for Morrowind you had to be a certain level for it to trigger. I should probably know, I have KotN, but I always install it first so it's always on for me. I'll do some searching

EDIT: yeah apparantly you just have to ask around some chapels.

Try starting a new game and then go to Anvil right away after you leave the sewers. You may have accidently killed the prophet, make the new character just to make sure. If he is there for your new character, that means you killed him with your main one. If he isn't there for your new character, that means you need to re-install the expansion.

Question. Did you buy the GotY edition in stores? Or download the expansions from live?

I did it through live and had it for pc, you start it the same way for each.

umm if he isnt there then what level are you?? i didnt really like the knights of the nine anyways though. Mehrunes Razor for the win! but er...thats really wierd that he didnt show up...

Think we may have cracked it via pm although I don't know for sure - for expansions to be applied you need to be connected to the internet. Otherwise you get a three second loading screen when it should be longer and no add-ons to your game.

Connect to the net, update if necessary and you should be good to go...hopefully...

Oh. My. Goose! I completely forgot that I had The Nights of The Nine expansion pack until you brought it up! I actually downloaded it from Xbox LIVE months ago but never got round to playing it. I hear it's quite short but a heck of a lot of fun while it lasts. I think the new NoTN armour looks great, too, and I wouldn't mind getting my hands on it. ^_^

I loved every part of it...it was a little short in my opinion though but the quests to gain the armor and stuff is fun...I beat it long time ago and stopped playing...if anyone knows(only look if you want to break your fun or get a hint OR you already finished it

the quest to get the gauntlets of the crusader...the ones that you need to like inflict yourself the curse that the one guy in the chapel had all his life by casting that spell so it goes on you...does that curse really do anything at all?Cause i dont remember it affected me in any way and i didnt know how to get rid of it if possible...

Also if you do want to know something...when you need to get the helm you can actually jump on the side platforms around the room wih the dead body and ring in it...I just jumped on the sides of wall and collumns and got to it fast...

The one and only part i didnt like about it was

the sword of the crusader...tainted one that you need to get...i hate how it was enchanted...really i hate those stupid glows that weapons get when they are enchanted...
