KOTOR 3 confirmed...in MMO form?

KOTOR 3 confirmed...in MMO form?

I just learned that Bioware is working on a new KOTOR, and its going to be an MMO.

WHAT WAS WRONG with the first 2 games? I loved them they were brilliant.
I know its only early and this mght turn out to be a great product but the fact that it is going to be an MMO, which undoubtedly means monthly fees really makes me lose interest in this franchise.

The first two were unbelievable, even is the Sith Lords content was a little unfinished.

What are your thoughts on KOTOR and this proposed MMO?

The KOTOR MMO will be a completely different game it should be good I suppose, but maybe after the game is finished they will bring out a KOTOR 3

Yeah its not KOTOR 3 and they have never said they are working on KOTOR 3. It will just be an MMO based around the same time frame as KOTOR. You will see the KOTOR 3 you want at some point, however this isnt meant to be that product.

Oh, i see.

Thank god i didn't see how they could continue the story in MMO style. I wonder when KOTOR 3 will come out, obviously they are working on the MMO so it is most likely going to be a while. Should be good but.

Only if Bioware make it they made a good job on KOTOR but when Obsidian Made KOTOR 2 it was not all that great it felt like there was something missing.

Yeah the end to every character storyline in the game.

I think they left KOTOR 2 a little open for KOTOR 3. The first one was the best though. Everyone pretty much thinks that. However, I played KOTOR 2 before I played KOTOR 1, so I thought KOTOR 2 was so great. :(

In MMO, I think it be a good game. The only thing is, I don't want people on there that think that they are gangsters ( GTA 4 ). Maybe it is a bad idea. There will be A LOAD of people playing. Runescape and WOW have a lot of room to move around with your player. Is this MMO gonna have room as well?

I think it will have enough room for a few hundred maybe thousands but unlike Runescape and WOW I cant say it depends on how big the universe is for KOTOR MMO if they add all of the planets from the KOTOR universe then it would be pretty big for people to explore

Obsidian created KOTOR 2 and it was left unfinished thanks to them being rushed to get it out. Bioware made the first and still to this day i havent played it, though its meant to be the best by far. You will always get people like that on online games these days (mainly console online games though).

My god your missing out. I still play it, its great. Haven't played 2, i got tired of the dead end unfinished stories.

I was so angry when the T3 and HK story was unfinished.

Ive been told to play it many many times i just couldnt find a copy anywhere and then my PC GFX Card died twice and im yet to replace/repair it. I would like to play it though as i thought the 2nd was excellent even though it was unfinished.

I agree that it was excellent but it could have been much better, but honestly you have never played the first one

No i have never played the first one, at the time it came out my family PC could only run games like Command And Conquer Red Alert 2. By the time id got into PC's properly and got myself a decent gaming computer id forgotten about it.

My GFX card is dead at the moment (yes my new one):getlost: and im using on board one so it wouldnt run it. :lol:

I'd love it...but MMO form? well, dammit for me, because that means another game to install on my comp that will slow it down more than ever, or if it's xbox live then it's another game to play on the side with Fable.

I rlly loved the game i don't think that they should make the game online that would be little stupid cuz they wont sell that much when its an MMO (thats what i think) just playing on your on thats better with this game i think. and i rlly hope that they will not do the stupid combat thing that you can only attck badguys, so that you are rlly free to do what you want

Kotor is not a mmo. Ruin the whole series if they changed it to mmo.

Just as clarification the rumoured MMO is NOT KOTOR III. Its just rumours about an MMO based around the Star Wars universe, specifically that of Knights of the Old Republic.
