yea, if bioware has a chance to make another KOTOR, and its a mmo, i'm gonna be ticked, (which i'll likely be),then with my luck obsidian would pick up the next, and well..... i don't want that,,,

Just as clarification the rumoured MMO is NOT KOTOR III. Its just rumours about an MMO based around the Star Wars universe, specifically that of Knights of the Old Republic.

Well if they do i think its stupid

You will see a KOTOR III at some point but this MMO as ive said before isnt meant to be it.

Yeah the end to every character storyline in the game.

Yeah, that really upset me, that they left us hanging, like that. I've been waiting a very long time to see, what happened, with Revan. We were suppose to go and find her. Is that what the MMO, would be about?

Few details are known at the moment but i dont think it will be as story driven being an MMO and it will just be based around the KOTOR universe. I dont think it will try and continue the story as they will save that for KOTOR III.

I've played mmo's before and didn't enjoy them, I wish they'd skip this and just make KOTOR III as the first two are two of the greatest games I've ever played! (The best being Fable)

Yes I totally agree. What's the deal anyway? Why can't they just make it? Is everything going to be controlled by microsoft, from now on? I'm getting a little upset, over that. If I don't want to go online, why are they making it so you have to, to have any fun? I will for Fable 2, but not sure about other games.:wacko:

Microsoft owns too much, but is falling apart slowly. If i can find the article that explains it i will post it on this thread. Im not big on paying for mmo's online......wow makes so much money bc of the monthly payments or w/e. If they do that to D3 im going to be mad.

Fable ill go online with someone but im the only rpg fan up here in the north. so one of you guys better be nice and hit me up

Nothing to do with Microsoft, it was LucasArts that wanted to concentrate on just churning out countless Star Wars games for cash and wanted to leave KOTOR alone for a while.

I really hope that they do make even just an expansion pack for KOTOR II, restore the cut content. Awhile ago I heard about The KOTOR II restoration mod, but never heard anything more about it. It looks very promising.

Yeah i heard of the same thing but im not sure it has been completed yet, i never heard about a finished version anyway.

Now I love Star Wars but I gotta agree with Dark Drakan it is just a money making machine and for every good game that comes out (KOTOR 1+2)
there are about five appalling ones (Obi-Wan's adventures anyone!?!)

No i have never played the first one, at the time it came out my family PC could only run games like Command And Conquer Red Alert 2. By the time id got into PC's properly and got myself a decent gaming computer id forgotten about it.

It's actually a very good game. I still play it if I miss Carth.
I think the color is better in the first one. The second is a little darker. I still wish there was a third. To follow Revan, and fight the unknown, would have been fantastic.

To reiterate before I make this post, KOTOR the MMO is not KOTOR III. Someday, there will be a KOTOR III. This is not that day, though, but this game is related.

That said, I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up being a bridge to KOTOR III in some respects...We might get to fight the True Sith a little. That would be fun.

To reiterate before I make this post, KOTOR the MMO is not KOTOR III. Someday, there will be a KOTOR III. This is not that day, though, but this game is related.

That said, I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up being a bridge to KOTOR III in some respects...We might get to fight the True Sith a little. That would be fun.

Just hope a KOTOR III announcement comes soon.

and SW KOTOR: Universe

bioware makeing both they could pull both off...

But one arguement i have to all of you who say u want to see the story completed.. What story?? 1 and 2 were totally independent storylines...
