Thanks for all the goodbyes, even though I haven't left yet, because MY ****ING BROTHER AND HIS GIRLFRIEND AREN'T EVEN HERE YET EVEN THOUGH WE SHOULD'VE LEFT THIRTY MINUTES AGO.
Also, no worries about bear cavalry. Horse cavalry might be a concern, but the feral ponies are too small to make good warhorses, though they will happily steal any and all unattended food.
