Legendary Sword

I just stumbled arcoss this site, and having recently just finished the story I'm looking to aquire and complete the things I missed. The community seems pretty good about sharing. So here's something that I haven't seen posted yet. There's a legendary sword in Brightwood. If you go ontop of Garth's Tower there's a cullis gate. If you jump off the broken part of the railing ajacent to the gate you'll fall into a hole. Follow the tunnel doing the puzzles as you go, at the top you get a pretty sweet augment, but more importantly after getting to the top you'll come out to a legde with a chest. Inside you'll get a sparkling katana with a name I can't remember. It's got three augments in it already. Enjoy.

When i go to the place mentioned, there is a big basin sitting in the way...is there a way to get it out of the way?

Big basin...Hmm. I'll run there and check for you, but I don't know if you're in the right place. There was nothing in the way. It's just a break in the railing around the upper edge of the tower. It's within 10 feet of the cullis gate at the top of the stairs.

Thought I should add the swords name is The Daichi, and it has Devastation, Bewitching, and Killerwatt augments in it. Enjoy.

I also have a big 'basin' in front of it. It's just like, in the way and unmovable.

You're welcome Flashburn, and as for the basin...If you're in the right place then maybe it's the game keeping you from it. Have you activated the cullis gate that's on the roof with you?

Activating the gate is part of the main storyline. It's how you get to wraithmarsh. You'll get there.

I'm having problems with the first puzzle with that orb I can't get too.... xD

EDIT: nevermind, it finally worked. Stubborn bugger.

Yea, the orbs in the tunnel along with the spikes combine to make a pretty tricky situation.

1: Shoot it with your gun.
2: Shoot it with you gun, be careful on the spikes.
3: Use Bloodlust Roar on the statue when you activate it.
4: Kick the orb while following the path it takes.

The solutions, for those who care.

The daichi is the most powerful sword in the game...

Do you have to beat the cruicble and the spire to get to this point or something?

you have to progress the story to where *spoilers* you have to activate the gate at Garths tower in brightwood, its the start of the hero of skill.

Guyz I have a little problem there, I got on the top of that cave, came out and couldnt find chest with Daichi, so I jumped down and didnt get it. Now when I want to go there again through the cave I can get past the first gate and on the second gate, that gate you have to shoot with gun I am stuck. The door was open at first but I made a miss click and kicked the ball. It went to the hole in the spire or whatever it is and door closed. Now I cant go to the next floor. Anyone knows how to open it again or I'll never open it again?
