DON'T TRY TO TELL ME WHICH DEFINITION I MEANT.

Patronisation sounds legit.

Clearly not. It's obviously spelled wrong. I mean, really, how can your wiki-dictionary be reputable when it can't even spell?

Walker stop patronising us :'(

You can patronize ghost-type pokemon very effectively. It makes them feel all lowly and beaten down by the world, and hardly worth their ectoplasm. Damn near wipes them out if you do it right.

My sexual magnetism works on them, too, but I try to avoid them.

Gengar used Dream Eater!
You're now miserable instead of him!

Walker used Sex!
Gengar is unaffected by physical attacks!

Does that mean Gengar is no longer a ghost type, since you brought him back to life?
yes and no. it all has to do with the move...
Paradox (psychic/normal)
pokémon who have become victim of a paradox convert to being a paradox-type. their previous attributes remain, but they make less sense.

i.e. Gengar was still fainted in the past tense ;)
