Lets Play...

I know there is probably a much better place to ask these questions buuuut, I like you guys so XD

I have lacked any means of entertaining myself other than Foruming, Music and Video Games/Flash games, so, I am starting a new hobby: Lets Playing, only problem is, I need help, as such I need the following questions answered please?

Where could I find a FREE recorder (For the PC) that will capture sound and not display demo things on my screen?
How can I capture both my Mic and in-game sound at once?
Aaaaaand, which of these should I let's play? (See Poll)

Also, assuming that I can get a recorder and capture sound (I will test it tomorrow as I am off then.) and the Lets Play comes out descent, I will post it on this thread and would you guys (Nicely) critique it for me/raise it's views/rating?

Half-Life 2, I'd buy the game if you did a LP on it.

You could use a free hypercam and switch the unregistered hypercam icon with LP (insert lp here)

I'm not sure what you mean by recorder, and how do you want to capture both mic and in game sound? I don't really understand, otherwise I'm pretty good with this.

I'd definately sub you if you did LPs. I'm too lazy to do LPs, I'm more entertained with Rockband.

Which reminds me, the last Rockband vid I put us was around 2 weeks ago. :x

I am only doing computer games and those are about the only ones I am in the mood for lol. Still trying to get a good Fraps liek thing.

Red Alert 2! That and Yuri's Revenge are among my most favourite PC games ever. Hell, I'll do a Let's Place on 'em myself! I'll have to get back to you on capture cards, recording equipment software since it requires a long post and it's almost 2:00AM here. A quick answer would be: GameCam or FRAPS.

Xfire as a recorder? I didn't know it did that! Thanks Project Ego, I might do HL2 then RA2 l8r. Get back when you can with that Cam thing.

EFF YEAH! There's already an LP on it though... The guy's funny, but his voice gets a little obnoxious if you watch too many in a row.
