ok i was on youtube and found this, donno if anyones seen it sorry if you have but it's new too me.

It's about deathnote if you didnt guess.

interesting, so your saying that

that other shinigami was in fact, Light? so Light really did become a god? very interesting...... I hope they do another season of Death Note.

Death Note = pwnage. I bought a DeathNote zip hoodie and made a Death Note soon after I finished the anime. I love it.

It appears he is a Shinigami, or he could at least be an honorary one... After all, he killed millions of people before he was caught, the Shinigami would be impressed of a mortal doing such things... Plus, The goggle shingami is walking down the stairs at the end with his red eyes, alot like when Raito is walking down the stairs in the little flashback... But I am probably overanalysing things.

there is so much fan made deathnote stuff on youtube it's hard to believe anything. i prefer to just leave the ending as it is, and move on!!

^He does die, its just hinted that he becones a shinigami, or an immortal of some type (possibly through legend?)

I believe he is a shinigame and it's not fan made it's from the directors cut yet to be brought other too the uk or us according to thingy/

I knew that straight after I watched the last episode. It doesn't mean he isn't "gone" as he clearly doesn't remember Ryuk, and it's pretty obvious he is dead.

ok i don' like light but there is evicence first he has red eyes when light goes down the staircase and when the new shinigami goes up the stairs you see red glow for eyes
not many people know ryuk likes apples.
if the shinigami is light and retains his memory he will most likely drop of the notebook and get someone to become the god of the new world and killthe person there and become god without having to be caught by someone since they can't see him.
and when the shingami leaves it is just when ryuk says you are not god and the possible light shinigami doesn't want to hear of him dieing and leaving the world in ruin. and also the shinigami absolutely wanted to see ryuk. and ryuk said i'd prefer a juicy one and the only 2 peoplke who know that are light and L or something sohe would only say that in light's presence. ryuk mentioned a man and never said a name so he knows that light knows the story so he doesn't need to say a name.
he also says he is bored just like light when he first met ryuk.
you'll be lucky if someone picks it up which means remebering light how he got himself into what happened.
am i right light? he could be talking ot himself or he is talking to the shinigami as light. this is proven by when ryuk says you'll never forget it your life which means if light's life was "extended" by becoming a shinigami then he would remeber everything so he would rember what he did. i hate light i'm not supporting him

I meant that I saw that the Shinigami beared a resemblance to Light, so I assumed it was Light. After all, " a human who has used a Death Note cannot go to Heaven or Hell."

Also:

  • The coat he wears looks very similar to the one Light was wearing when he died.
  • He walks up stairs to meet Ryuk, which could be seen as a subtle reference to Light's death.
  • The way he tosses the apple to Ryuk, as Light did when alive.
  • Light's red tie is wrapped around the shinigami's head.
  • The shinigami walks into a bright flash of light at the top of the stairs.
  • The fact that he inexplicably knows Ryuk's love for apples without asking the other Shinigami.
  • The fact that Ryuk says "Light" after the unnamed Shinigami leaves.
  • The same smile that Light shows upon mocking on L's grave.
  • The red eyes that in the anime shows Light's 'Kira' persona.
Hope I cleared every possible thought up.

I donno but when i first saw that shinigami he just totaly reminded of light, just how he looked.

P.S. how can you hate light? Light's awesome!! He became a death god ;)
Also droded i thought from the moment in the anime where ryuk tells him he can't go to heaven or hell that he'd become a shinigami, just seemed like the kindof thing the deathnote would do to you so agree with ya there :P

-he uses women, even the two that loved him and he killed one of them.
-he tryed to get his father to use the deathnote on his deathbed, dispite the "any human who uses the deathnote can neither go to heven nor hell for eternity" rule.
- he uses people
- he doesnt have the balls to accept the shinigami eye deal
- he thinks he has what it takes to be a god
- he killed L. not cool at all.
- he has to much of an ego to admit when he acted carelessly
- he doesnt know when to stop
- he is a coward and an egomaniac
- after loosing his memory of the deathnote, he joins in the fight to stop Kira for real and agrees that what Kira is doing is wrong. upon regaining the deathote he continues to be Kira anyway.
- he doesnt have the sence to carry a gun and counts on the deathnote for all his killing needs. a gun could have really saved his ass in the end. but instead he got shot by that dork matsuda.

there are probobly more resons to hate him, but Im not listing any more. what he was doing was right, but he got out of hand and was careless and payed for it.

We're supposed to applaud him on (supposedly) becoming a Death God? So you would personally want to spend all of eternity being a useless entity who's powers are completely useless and the only way they can entertain themselves is by killing others?

Oh, yeah. Light is awsome.

phew, i'm glad that he became a death god. before i read this i had such an inconclusive feeling about the death note plot. now i can finally move on and remember it as an ending that i would enjoy watching (not that the aired ending wasn't nerve wrenching enough...)

Well we can applaud him for going back to earth now and being able to clean up the place... And TJ:
1. There is a difference between cowardice and wisdom.
2. Of course he's slipping up alot and can't admit it, if he admits it he looses his power, he feels useless, the reason he slips up is MOST of the time because of the Death Note "Whoever so uses the Deathnote will experience the horrors and fear of those killed" or something like that, after a few million we would probably crack aswell XD.
3. Killing L wasn't so bad, but this was the only part of Raito (other than when he completely lost it at the end) that I didn't like: Oookaaaay?

^first of all the link doesn't work besides i hate light for the same reasons as Tj and there is another thing i hate.
and i like L he was cool but near and mello were inferior to him.
What sucks now is if that is light with his memories than he will use his deathnote to kill all criminals and become untouchable since he is a shinigami :sly:

If you guys remember, L is a coward aswell, and he uses people for his gains (Lind L Taylor for example) and more... They are very similar.

^yes but atleast he killed one criminal and not billions and he did a major unknown crime while light eventually started killing people who did a minor crime like steal a book or something from a store or something.
and besides what would be the point to show himself? i thought L was cooler,

i know were going to be best of friends when we talk about deathnote :sly:
