LOADS of freezing.

i'm new
anyways, stop me if you've heard this before. I've searched it on here but i didn't find anything.

so ever since i downloaded Knothole island my xbox 360 has been freezing every 5-10 minutes or so. the game, without warning, decides to choke up and i am not able to open the dash board or anything.

It doesn't happen with any other game but this one. and it was 100% fine b4 the download. I've already done that weird maintenance thing on my hard drive (go to a certain page and press bumper bumper x etc.) because they said it was an issue with the update but... that didn't help (unless I actually redownloaded the update...)

help meh. plz.

try deleting the DLC from your HDD then redownloading it

Yes, you will be able to delete it and redownload for free. Try that. :thumbsup:

install fable 2 on your harddisc helped for me and a friend of mine

Yep installing the game to your hard drive seems to be the only real solution for alot of people (but even then I have heard of a few people that the problem still persists), if it does contacting support really wont get you anywhere, most likely just a run around back and forth between Microsoft and Lionhead.

so i never ended up calling support cuz i hate dealing with them.

Instead i took my hard drive and game over to my friend's house and put them both into his 360.
were no issues at all with his- which is weird. His is from 2007 and mine is from 08

my disk is a little scratched so is it likely mine is picking up the scratches more?
this sucks.

There are 2 solutions you can try without going out of ur way.

1. Take Toothpaste, Only White. Then put a medium sized glob on the side of the disk, Then take ure hand and spread the tooth paste in one direction. Leave it for 5 minutes and then put a little water on it, then remove the toothpaste and dry it. This removed all my scratches and made my game work fine.

2. Where it says Play "Fable II" Press Y and install it to ur HDD. It's around 6GB
