I'm finally finished building it. Had to mod some parts in my case (Cooler Master HAF-X), and I added some stencils on the outside.

Here's some pictures:

Sorry, all the pictures couldn't fit into one post, so here's the last post. I promise.

I got my GPU overclocked to 900MHz:

The stencils make it look like crap, imo.

I like 'em. Some people like 'em, some people don't, but since it's mine, I wanted the stencils; ALTHOUGH, I do think I should have just used the bottom right stencil only.

Sexy sexy computer you got there. :3

Jesus christ watch out or its gonna eat you in your sleep

Figured I'd post some updates on my Rig. I currently replaced my Razer Carcharias headset with my new Logitech G930 7.1 Surround Sound Wireless Gaming Headset:

Along with getting 12GB's of G. Skill Ripjaws 1600 RAM:

Next on my list is to replace my Corsair H70 CPU Water Cooler with the Corsair H100 Water Cooler.

And a Blu-Ray Burner Drive.

**UPDATE!**

I went out and bought two 12" inch Purple UV Lights, a single 5 Purple Light LED source, Two Purple LED 200mm fans, a Cold RAM Cooler, and a Fan Controller. So now my case is definitely getting that Decepticon/Megatron feel (Mind you, I'm basing it off the old 80's Cartoon and Comics, not that new crap in the theaters).

Here's some pictures with the Lights On.

I'm installing the two Purple LED 200mm fans for the top of my case:

friggin awesome! Now build a cabana to house it.

Ugh, machines like that bother me. I'm all for performance but the aesthetic stuff bugs the crap out of me. Congrats, your comp case can put people into epileptic seizures, you want a medal?

With that out of the way, you seem a bit excited. How many builds a year do you typically do?

I haven't done a build, besides my last two builds which I posted here on ProjectEgo in the last two years. I was deployed for a long time, so I never had the chance. So I just recently started building, again, in the last few months. Before I ever joined the military, though, I used to build custom rigs for a living. Throughout my life, though, I've done more than 50 builds.

I don't know if I'd say I'm excited. I'm happy I finally added my lights and fans, mainly because I was going for that Decepticon/Megatron theme. Normally, I'd make a Chassis myself; Hell, even stencil out a design, cut the metal, plexi glass the back, and light it up. One of the reasons I joined the Military in the first place was to not only serve my country, but to get that sweet, SWEET VA loan to help my business back home. ;)

I don't have problems with my lights and I could turn them off whenever I please (I've rigged my case to be able to shut off the lights, which I do most of the time). A lot of it is just taste. Some people, such-as yourself, don't like the "all out" look. As for myself, I don't care, as long as the Specs are top notch and they can handle my games, editing, media, benchmarking, overclocking, and folding.

It's been a while since I've updated this thread and it occurred to me that I haven't posted anything I've recently done to it, so here goes a few.

Added a Logitech G700 mouse:

Changed my keyboard to a Razer BlackWidow Ultimate mechanical keyboard:

Got a Logitech G13 gamepad:

Why are you using a Logitech gamepad anyway?

Mainly for StarCraft 2. You get more control once you get used to the gamepad. I'm an old school SC player, but with SC2, it's so much faster to use a gamepad and program the keys yourself, especially if you have a set build. I'm not going to lie, though, if my build in SC2 doesn't work out and I get countered, I end up moving to the keyboard to retaliate. I also use it for MMOs from time to time, but it's mainly for RTS games. For FPS, I stick with my keyboard.
