i dunno if anyone did this already...
If your gonna re-start...you can actually get hundreds of silver keys...without even moding..just do any quest that you find easy and that theres a silver key in that part of the quest, such as the Ochard Farm quest or the Trader through Darkwood quest...each one is kinda worth. just perform each quest 1ce and when you get the silver key(s) just press G and teleport bac to the beginning of the quest adn you should already have that key and there will be new ones in the same location at the same places on the map. then jus do that quest like a 10 time and you can already get the Murren Greathammer at a very early part in the game !!!

If you get more silver keys that way it usually ends up corrupting the game.

I thought it corrupted it if you did hero save but not it if you left the region. I haven't it corrupt my game so I'm not sure.

the way that person was describing it sounded like an exploit. I mean how do you "teleport to the beginning of a quest"

Hold G and teleport to a different region so that the quest restarts..

Basically you leave the region and it will ask you to reload/restart or stay. Teleporting means you don't have to walk to an exit. Like I said I don't know if it corrupts the game of not.
I still haven't gotten all the keys :lol: I just buy them now :ninja:

wow there ar 30 keys? the biggest chesi i have found so far is 25 at the guild
are there any really good chest any body can refer to me ?

Well there is only one 30 key chest I think, and its at the lost bay after you...

You'll first have to own Fable:The Lost Chapters, and not just Fable.

I had the same problem with my last character, turns out I had simply missed a cupboard in Bowerstone North :blush: .

Just make sure you raid all the houses in every village and all the guild bookcases (including the ones in the demon door, just turn on your lamp to open it). Don't worry if you can't get into the orchard farm house, it's only open during the trader escort quest, and the book you get from there (The Rotten Apple) is "too advanced" for the teacher's purposes.

You can tell that he's given you the key by the fact that he doesn't mention books anymore, he just turns into another village idiot (usually with a heart above his head).

If you ask me the 30-key chest is a bit dissapointing. You get one of each gem (including a rare Amethyst gem) and 'The Avenger', a relatively weak sword (since by then you have either the Sword of Aeons or Avo's tear or even both :ninja: ) whose only strength is killing hobbes. Since it has fire and lightning augmentations, it does more damage per hit to hobbes than Avo's Tear/Sword of Aeons, but not enough to make a difference as it takes the same amount of hits to kill any type of Hobbe, making it rather useless.

Is there any way to get the last Silver key if you never marry Lady Grey? If this has been asked before, let me know.

If you use the shovel trick at the beginning of the game in the original Fable, you can access Bowerstone North. Lady Grey isn't there, but you can enter her house...

hmm i got all 30 keys and didn't marry lady grey. i think u just have to not acsept the marrage or get to the last bit befor marrying her and then expose thee evil little teddy bear. tho i spose no1 is gunna read this
