Re: Mad.

Yeah, sure it will look pretty much the same, but it will be slightly improved on the detail, and to me, slightly improved is enough. I think, aside from the fact that the engine is already there for them, they didn't want to lose the feel of the current land of Albion. It's supposed to be very closely related to its predecessor, unlike the switch from I to II, where it really was a whole new world, and it needed to feel like one. They could have just rebuilt the old engine and added on to it for Fable II, but then you'd just expect to find the Heroes Guild every time you leave the Gypsy camp.

And, I noticed that "hovering" character movement right away as soon as I first played it. The first Fable, if you notice, the character seems to be really connected, for lack of a better term, to the ground, and therefore, the world. When you walked up a set of stairs, his feet would actually touch them, his knees would bend and you could actually see him pushing his body upward with his legs to reach the next step. Now, your legs move and you float up the steps. In Fable II, you feel more like an observer than a participant due to the disconnected nature of your movement. That factor alone made Fable II a bit of a disappointment. There were many other factors, but I always felt that was the biggest one. I really hope they fix that in the new one.

Re: Mad.

I - as a matter of fact, liked the movement in Fable II. The running was my favorite part, to be telling the truth.

Re: Mad.

I don't see what you guys mean by hovering. My feet were on the ground at all times, nothing caught my eye or bothered me.
