As many of you are aware, the final round on ME3 DLC went live this week. Citadel is the final adventure with Shepard and his crew (with all of your surviving party members from the previous games making an appearance, if lore doesn't have them otherwise occupied). It several new areas, several of which remain open after the completion of the DLC story.
It adds new weapons, armors and a smorgus board of mini games. A new arena is available, which allows you to fight all of the foes from the three main game factions, and also reintroduces the Collectors to the single player game. In said arena you can also form a squad of party members from previous games (though not all, many are there. Wrex, Jack, and Grunt included).
Guys... I cannot begin to tell you how much fun this DLC is. The campaign, depending on your difficulty, will take you anywhere from two to four hours to complete and has what is probably my favorite final boss from the entire series so far. The character writing is phenomenal, and the DLC itself is hilarious and it never takes itself seriously. The entire adventure is fun and lighthearted, focusing more on the character interactions than plot.
This is the farewell to the characters we know and love. This is it.
And it is amazing.
