Actually katanas are the only weapons in the game classified as fast. The longsword, cleaver, and cutlass are all classified as "normal" speed. Axes, hammers and maces are slow.

I got the Master Hammer with 2 aug slots one time at Bowerstone Blacksmith, I was just bored so I decided to collect Master Weapons, and *boom* it was there, I was like hey it's only 56k so I mind as well buy it too.

I use stoneskin, ghoul and lucky charm. Those are my favorites.:)

My favourites are Ghoul & Devastation. But I use Daichi & Red Dragon, so I don't use them.

Weapons with augment slots are more likely to appear in towns with a good economy from my experience. Instead of sleeping a week away, do some work and some trading and hope what you want comes in stock. Finding a Heavy Weapons Trader is a better bet because they are less dependent upon economy. I've never used hammers in the game so I've never hunted for one, but the above seems true for any other weapon I've needed.

What about Hammerthyst ? thats pretty easy to get and a hammer im not to good to do with weapons so i dont know if its powerful or not , but all I know is its a hammer (hence the name 'hammer'thyst) XD

The Hammerthyst is actually a relatively weak weapon compared to master weapons (maybe even the strong steel weapons). I think it does around 70 damage, while the master hammer does 106 or 107.

I bought the Master Hammer from Bowerstone blacksmith, it was on the 75% off sale!!!! From 27k I bought it for 4k :D:D:D Its the best weapon I ever had lol!! ;)

Your best bet is to get the Bowerstone Town Economy right up and invest / buy / sell at the blacksmith to get it to five stars if you want the best of the best (though make sure you do any rquired shopping at the furniture shop, cause max economy will glitch out their stock).

And as for the best weapon, master hammer is the way to go. I got one just before the first visit to the spire and it served me well.
