And Lacky, where you from? Are you an old person who got renamed when I wasn't looking?
For the first question, I'm from Greece, although Italogreek. The second question, no I'm not old, it's a long story.

How do you say it? Do you have strong feelings on the matter? Can I turn this into an argument somehow?

Am I in fact wildly immature?

does making pointless threads about technicalities in the phonetics of the english language count as immature?

i don't think so. i'd just call it a strange part of language studies to obsess over. :ermm:

Arse, you sonovabitch. Match-ur? Is that what what you mean? When I spell it that way I put too much emphasis on the a. YOU PUT TOO MUCH EMPHASIS ON THE A, DAMN YOU. But, yeah, I'm not really sure that's any different...

Yeah, match-ur sounds more right.

Lacky is the artist formerly known as Darkoni.

I'd take a Swede an and Aussie to properly master the English language, I tell you wut.

I think I'm saying it like 'ma-ture'.

With an English accent, 'Mah-toor- sounds stupid.

If you're Italian American, however, it's a different story.

Mature macho matador must match manly mustache.

Upon review, I've discovered that I say Match-oo-ah.

agree/disagree: maturity is a word that describes a trait commonly used by adults to judge the worth of other adults based on how boring they have become.

trivia: miniature golf is not boring and is therefore immature.

Mah-tcher is how I'd more accurately spell how I say it.
Americans from America speak American and don't speak so foolishly.
It's pompous to speak in such a manner anyway. *Ahem...

The first one. Although I do know some posh gits who say "mat-yure", which makes me want to slap them.
