Max and the Blind Man
There was once a blind man who wandered into Westcliff. He had nothing but a sturdy branch to guide him and a pistol to defend himself. A young swindler by the name of Max approached him as he entered the town.
"Hello there sir, how would you like a crack at the shooting range?" Max said with a giggle.
"Well why not?" he said with a laugh of his own, "I see nothing better to do in this cesspool of a town."
"This town is brilliant sir, so mind your tongue."
"Tell you what young man, if you can best me in the shooting range then I will recant and be on my way. But, if you lose you must bathe nonstop for a week."
"You got a deal old man."
Max chuckled as he shook hands with the old man.
The two made their way to the shooting range and gripped their pistols. The man's grip on the pistol seemed as though it wasn't a foreign object, but a part of his own hand. Max frowned as he looked at his own hand, shaking from the weight of the pistol. The targets fell one by one to the blind man's perfect shots. Max gave up bitterly knowing he was in for the bath of a lifetime.
