If you have exposed Lady Grey you should become mayor so that you have access to the mayor's house to get a key and the Hiryu Katana. If you marry her you can still get in. Other than those two items there is no advantage or disadvantage to it either way.

I'm bummed you can't use the manor as a marital home. Once you become mayor you can't get into that demon door at the grey house and lose 15,ooo in dowry for Lady Grey. The least they could've done is allow you to get married to someone there and get 5,000 gold dowry. Even if you marry her and find a way to "do away" with her, you can't use it as a marital home. Then again, that is the point of the game. Choices and their rammifications.
