Medal of Honor Multiplayer Beta

EA will launch a multiplayer beta for the new Medal of Honor game on 5th July according to retailer Play.com.

"Pre-ordering Medal Of Honor from Play.com will give fans the opportunity to join the Medal of Honor multiplayer BETA when it goes live on July 5th 2010," according to the listing.

"The BETA will take place between July 5th and July 17th - access codes will be emailed on July 5th. All pre-orders through Play.com will entitle customers to an access code. BETA access details are subject to change at any time."

That's great news! One of the biggest complaints I hear about MW2 is the sheer number of bugs that were available for exploitation from the get-go, and the bugs were among the many reasons I sold my copy of MW2 in the end.

I really want Medal of Honor to succeed. I was a huge fan of the old PS2 games and especially Allied Assault for the PC. Hopefully this re-imagining of the series will be even better and maybe even give the Call of Duty series a run for its money.

I remember playing Medal of Honor for the PS1 along with Frontline and Rising Sun for the PS2. I loved them. It's a shame it just kind of... Died.

I'd really love to see MoH do well, it was a great franchise.

My favorite MoH was Pacific Assault. I wish it had more blood, and was more realistic though. Like World at War. Best CoD in terms of realism in my opinion.

I won't be playing. I already pre ordered black ops so I have to save my money up for that one. Plus this looks like it's another Modern Warfare 2, it's just a coincidence that right after InfinityWard makes the smashing hit number 1 game in the world, that somebody decides to step off of World War 2 as well and go into the Modern stages. Cough.

I won't be playing. I already pre ordered black ops so I have to save my money up for that one. I can see what you mean. It'll be nice to see a new trend of games though.

I used to enjoy the earlier Medal Of Honor titles before it vanished behind the shadow of Call Of Duty. Allied Assault was a superb game but the console titles slowly got worse, really hope this game is good.
