I cant stop watching the video for st. Anger... real prisoners! Its just so damn cool!

But I think Metallica is better than Megadeath. Even though Megadeath currently produces better music than Metallica.

pffft Tony Iommi was defining the heavy metal sound while Metallica was still in grammar school...

Metallica needed dave so they could actully have good songs. Dave needed metallica to be kicked out and make a better band.

Metallica rock my odd coloured socks! There is no comparison! I like Megadeth, and Dave is awesome, but Metallica are gods and can do no wrong in my opinion. I was rocking out and head banging to Metallica in my car seat! Have been a huge fan all my life and always will be. My first concert was Summer Sanitarium and Metallica was so awesome. It was one of the best moments of my life, no joke.

And as far as albums go, Black was so great. All the older stuff was great. Load and Reload, great. St. Anger, not the best, but they weren't at the top of their game. All that therapy, huggy, touchy feely stuff got to them I think........

This is what happens when you listen to society and try to fix your problems..... All the best artists suffer from serious issues.... it's what makes art so great! ^^

If Metallica put out a polka album tomorrow, I'd probably buy it. ^^
There were several songs on both Load and Reload that I liked. I didn't love every song, but they were still good. Who needs critical fans when you can have blind worship.:P
Can do no wrong..... I mean it.

Yeah Trivium are a good band, talented music artists and young too.

Load and Reload are great. For God's sake, Hero of the Day is on it, amongst other awesome songs like Until It Sleeps.

Tough decision tbh but I would be swayed by Megadeths almost constant flow of decent music, although their new album was pretty poor imo, there is a difference between their old and new material yes but not as much as Metallicas. Metallica were never quite the same after Cliff died (and they stopped ripping off tracks Mustaine had written) and despite the fact Megadeth have had a bazillion trillion members they remain, in essence, unchanged in my opinion. I love practically all of Metallicas music with the exception of S* A***r, same with Megadeth for that matter, in the end though its all down to personal taste and mood. On the whole though in my younger years I would have said Metallica and argued that point to the death with anybody who even remotely disagreed but nowadays, in my latter years, I appreciate Megadeth alot more than Metallica. I still love them both but its fun to hear the crowd at a Megadeth gig chant along to the rhythm of Enter Sandman only switch the lyrics to slam Metallica.
