Why is it that every-time I visit theres like 4 members and 100 guests lol, is it forum members just here to browse but not sign in or people in the big wide world not yet plunging into signing up to the projectego community?

Just a curiosity I have lol, would be good to have some increased activity floating around.
 
Because a huge majority of the people that come here are looking for advice on the game itself. 99% of the questions they would ask have been answered already; no need to sign up.

EDIT: This is only what I think.
 
I'm thinking along the same lines, but still - out numbered more than leonidas vs the Persians it seems all the time lol.

But agreed alot of what peopl want has most likely been posted and resolved here.
 
Majority of said guests are google/msn spiders and the like, along with what Tyloric said.

Before we moved to Xenforo we had a guest count of around 700 to 1,000 everyday (versus a member count of 40-70), of course, the majority of those were not actually people but instead bots/spiders. When we made the migration the guest count dropped to around 50+ which was a number composed of actual people. But, the bots/spiders have returned and the guest count has jumped back up, dwarfing the online member numbers.

Although, I'm sure there are a lot of people who just come here to read information they need (Before I joined, I used to come to this site for a few years before actually registering and I'm sure there's more people who're like me).

But yes, Bots, Spiders, and Crawlers definitely are some of those Guests.

Oh of course, I'm not denying that. However this site has a history of attracting bots in great numbers, and it still continues to this day to a lesser extent.

Sorry, I wasn't correcting you or anything. I know there are crazy amounts of bots out there that especially love forums, but hey, without them, a lot of sites wouldn't get the amount of people that they get. Still makes me uncomfortable at times, though. Haha.

But yeah, before I joined I often just typed a question related to the game into Google and it came up with this site. I think the only reason I joined was because I needed to ask a question that hadn't been asked yet...

The reason I joined was because of Fable 3. I wanted to trade items with people.

Then I ended up being hooked to the Community.

I love you guys!
