Oh, My, Lord.

Bulletstorm meets Devil may cry anyone?

Not sure if want..

Looks like a more repetitive version of Ninja Gaiden and the atmosphere feels too much like a cliche for me.

Official site has more shizzle on it if anyone wants to see - plus the same video in case it gets swiped again by n00bTube.

Looks flashy like MGS should but also looks like its stepping away from the usual MGS formula and as others have said opting for a more Ninja Gaiden/DMC style. Combat looked a little arcade like and clunky, nice idea but I dont know how well it will stand up for the whole game as might get old fast.

Apparently it wasn't even going to happen until reps from Platinum came for a studio visit, got all exciterised about the idea and which resulted in them taking over the completion and all the changes that involved. Until then, it was secretly cancelled, hence the lack of news for over a year.

... where is the stealth?

It is a dark day indeed when the franchise that practically invented the stealth-genre is turned into a generic animu-inspired hack n' slash.

I agree and with Platinum Games behind the helm and their history of games (Madworld, Bayonetta and Vanquish) I just dont see them capturing what MGS was about. If it was classic MGS with the sword play being included too without the massively over the top almost Final Fantasy/DMC style combos it might have worked better. Stylish stealth finishing moves could have been a nice addition to the existing formula.

Platinum Games and Kojima Productions working on the same game, and
it's fast-paced action?! Awesome. My favourite Japanese developers
working on the same game!

I'm a devout metal gear fan but I don't think I'll be buying this, the very core dynamic of that I love about the series has be changed completely, besides I'm not a big ninja game fan.

I have been known to change my mind however, so we'll see when it comes out.
