I don't think they're saying Fable III is likely it is more future fable games.

Re: Microsoft visions future Fables using Natal

I don't think partial natal use would be bad. By that I mean say, to use the laugh expression just smile a bit or something.

If they used it for really basic expressions it would remove a lot of buttons use and having to go to the expressions, then the category, then the expression and make the whole adventure run a bit more smoothly by simplfying gamelay.

That is, of course assuming that natal turns out to actually work.

As long as natal is tested completely, and virtually works perfectly, I think it'd be fine for Fable.

But if all games in 10 years require me to dance around my room, I wont be happy.

Id hope that they would give you the choice to use it or not. As surely they know that not everyone likes the idea of motion control.

Re: Microsoft visions future Fables using Natal

I have absolutely no interest in Natal. It's fascinating, yes, but it's not really the direction I'd like the future of gaming to head towards. I reckon my step daughter would find it pretty epic, though. But, yeah, hopefully any future Fable games will have optional Natal support for those of us who are happy with our good ol' control pads.

id quite like it, it will also help obese gamers lose weight so i really really really think its a good idea, cuz so many big people like games, and if they enjoy it , it wont feel like exercise to them.

Re: Microsoft visions future Fables using Natal

As I stated in my post I think it would be a good feature but I would limit it to use with basic expressions.

That was you could just pull a face when you wanted to pull a face at someone and it would save you the time it took to find the right expression.

So, I would keep it to character interaction at most and all combat related stuff would be kept to the controller.

Re: Microsoft visions future Fables using Natal

Look guys they havent even released Natal.. Therefore you can't say Natal is bad, i mean look at the comment of Milo (all very good). Personally you can't judge natal yet because barely anyone has touched it. I agree with the option to have natal or not. But guys the only low of natal i see is cost wise. You can't say natal sucks. There has been nothing like it before. Wii is differents you can't use facial expressions, voice commands and your whole body. Bassically the Wii is waving a stick round to control stuff. Do not judge Natal by comparing it to the Wii.

I hate the Wii, I may hate natal but i am keeping open minded.

I would rather the option to have a controler but using natal wouldn't stop me buying the game either (especially if it came in a bundle with natal)

I know there are some lows with natal like who it is marketed at (not for the hardcore) but unless you have trialed a natal game.... wait not even natal in general. Unless you have trialed Milo, you can't say fable 3 will be a fail.

If there is 75% controller and 25% natal then it could be a good recipe. Especially if Natal is optional

Leaving with that i bring you the depressing news this was the only Lionhead thing that happened at TGS! I was really hoping for a new Fable III trailer that was meant to be shown :(

Some games natal should just leave alone. In my opinion.
