Migrating Fable II save file to Fable III

I have a question.

This allows the player's actions from Fable II to impact on the world of Fable III as their parent in the third game is their Hero from the second game.

So if this is true...... Then whatever happned what you did in Fable 2 what effect Fable 3. Like choosing ethier Love,Wealth or Sacriflies.

And a other thing is I have 4 kids in Fable 2. Will all for of them be in the game?
Also anouther spouse that I have 1 kid with. Will that 1 kid be in the game.

I know my spouses wont be in it.So what do you guys think?

Re: Migrating Fable II save file to Fable III

i sorta like the idea of having more than one brother, or a sister, like how sparrow had rose, but we never seen her after the intro.

like if we could visit them or they could help us on our quest, but having some sort of family you could talk to when you are grown up would make the game seem closer and more emotional.

and since i picked love, then hopefully my f3 char will have his auntie back, and get to see scythe.

Re: Migrating Fable II save file to Fable III

I doubt the kids from Fable II will have any impact at all in Fable III. It wouldn't be fair for people who did play Fable II to have an advantage. They'll probably be mentioned and their nonexistence explained in some way,

They haven't said anything about it so we can't know for sure, but moleneux did say that you inherited 1,000,000 gold at the begggining of adult game. If I understood him correctly in the vid. and it would be too far fetched, as the other got to be king...

Well to tell you the truth Fable 3 PC Users, have an unfair disadvantage, since they can't even buy fable 2.

I imagine all the characters brother and sisters were killed of by your evil brother, would be a typical cliche for the story.

Well it's good then that the Fable II save game wont affect the story much.

Re: Migrating Fable II save file to Fable III

Well this all makes sense. But what about the ending? The choices you made?

I can remember that i started a thread about that subject a couple of weeks ago, but nooooo! everybody just said something like: no, they aren't.
And the case was closed...
But now somebody else started a thread and we all comment on it....

I feel like the PC users of any video game like this have an unfair advantage. A good bit of PC users mod the hell out of the game until they get what they want. :/

Re: Migrating Fable II save file to Fable III

I hope my gold and weapons and such will move over, that will be most pleasant.... (:<

Re: Migrating Fable II save file to Fable III

I have a question pertaining to this as well, I found this in an article about it.

"Save games can be imported, though the data that makes it across will be limited to your choice of sex and some of the key decisions made in Fable II. "

What happens if you took the gender bender potion?

Thats a good question.

Re: Migrating Fable II save file to Fable III

well if you did not marry in any way till after the gander bender potion then you should be just fine if not well you will just have to wait and see. But i really do hoe that you can bring some of your money in from fable 2 that would be nice but the what fun would it be to start the game, rich as king? "Buy me an army worthy of Albion."

wat? wat? wat?

if i had a pc that could run fable 3 i would rather buy that one. PC version gets free DLC!

Re: Migrating Fable II save file to Fable III

i heard that the amount of progress you made in F2 by way of achievement may give you advantages like better starting weapons better early upgrades ect ect ect but this could be Pm blowing steam (PC users get a huge advantage over consolers
A: You can mod.
B: You get cheaper games.
C: You get free dlc.
D: You can modify specs in game.
E: You have a much larger range of options that consolers don’t even get a look at.

(Sorry but the ups out way the downs sometimes its nice for a console to have something that a pc user doesn’t and I am sure in 10 years or less there will be a pc copy brought out of fable 2.

So please don’t complain just look at some of the mod sections on this site. look at some games that are now becoming pc exclusives and console users just get dumped because we don’t have the tech requirements for them to make a console port. Look at games that are becoming mmo that consolers are crying out for a sequel.

I get enough crap from my pc friend about all the advantages they have and some of us cant afford to go buy a box that will be completely out of date in 3 years so no offence but stick it.

All this talk of PC makes Me wish I had one instead of this damn laptop, better than nothing I suppose.

But What If You Bring In Your Character From Fable 2 Will The Actions You Do In Fable 3 Affect Your Fable 2 Character's Appearence ?
