Money the source of delvierance

Hopefully I'm not continueing the redundancy of this topic should it have already been discussed, but I was curious about the income system in the game. How often does one gain money from their income, and can you perform the money cheat that you could in Fable II? By playing through the game once has shown me how important it is to accumulate money, should you desire to be completely good. So is there a quick way to get rich or am I going to have to work for it.

But change his instructions a little bit:

Use the glitch to get yourself like.. 200k or so.
Then give 100k twice to the other controller.
Now, Player number 2 can reject the gifts, leave game, come back in, reject the gifts again, leave game, rinse and repeat. Every time they reject the gifts, you get them back, so if you reject those TWO gifts twenty times, Player 1 has forty gifts waiting. When 2 leaves the game, and comes back, the gifts are there again.

Also, you get income every 5 minutes.
